Disable Blind Spot Monitor inoperative
The blind spot monitor is a sensor-based device installed in vehicles to detect other vehicles located to the driver’s side and rear. Warnings can be visual, audible, vibrating, or tactile.
In addition to monitoring the sides and rear of the vehicle, blind spot monitors may also include features such as "Rear Cross-Traffic Alert," which alerts drivers backing out of a parking space when traffic is approaching from the sides.
If this system malfunctions, an annoying message may appear on the instrument cluster, indicating that the Blind Spot Monitor is inoperative. We offer a solution to disable this message.
